first of all it is soo cool for a gadget and it looks nice too i mean common they are ray-bans but there is a reason why it has 4 stars and not 5... actually many reasons.. too much to even list... but I'll try.... you might even decide to give it a lower ratingTHE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KEEP IN MIND AND BEST THING ABOUT IT IS IT'S ABILITY TO CAPTURE MOMENTS LIKE NO OTHER! THERE IS NO PULLING OUT YOU PHONE, UNLOCKING, OPENING CAMERA APP... NONE OF THAT JUST PRESS AND CAPTURE.As it is designed for fb/instagram videos are short so you cannot record something continously over a minute...Turning it on is not the most intuitive and it takes a fairly significant time to connect compared with other Bluetooth devices I've had.You need a fb account to import your photos and clips... if you deactivate your account you'll get logged out from the app.The app has its own issues but you can make some fun reels with it! I ran an update once because it was not uploading my photos... 6 out of 9 of the photos did no make it...The vague privacy policy language is very uncomfortable... I recommend glancing over it so you are aware... with that said did you really think you have any privacy these days? The camera lighting can be poor and shadows and highlights can be off. Also forget about macro shots... just cuz your eyes focus on something doesn't mean the camera will. The earphones are not nearly loud enough if you want to take it on a stroll the street noise will wash out what you're listening toVoice commands are very convenient like "hey Facebook, next track" but also very limited and not as smart as Google or Siri so be prepared to hear "I cannot do that" many times. If you put the glasses in direct sun / heat for example in the car you'll get a message that it won't work until it is moved from the position. Even if you take series videos back to back indoors it'll heat up and it'll stop working...The touch control is poor there is a delay when playing and pausing music and sometimes it doesn't work ..sometimes when you take off and put on glasses you might start recording or touching play by accident etc...When you get in the car.. if your phone is connected to your car's Bluetooth the glasses will disconnect and make the voice commands useless. The material it is made from feels a bit cheap compared to the prescription ray-ban I've had before nevertheless it does definitely feel like an authentic ray-ban because it is.Connecting to the app can be problematic like I didn't have my wifi on so it was not uploading my photos to my phone I don't even know why I need to connect to wifi for that. If you are connected to VPN the app would not work and will ask you to disconnect from VPN.Battery life is poor and I mean poor like maybe 1/10th (if not worse) of your already poor phone battery life but if you have the case you can charge it just like you would with earpods... when it gets low enough and it will get low fast you wouldn't be able to sync with the app.If you want prescription lenses you can only get it on the ray-ban website or Lenscrafters but it'll be like at least double the price and it is already fairly expensive. So as you can see there is a lot of room for improvement ..of course purposely like any other tech... i personally bought it on sale so the price was not that much higher than competing smart glasses and regular ray-bans and I do not regret it but I would not have if they were not on sale.It looks really nice so that's always comforting.. no one acts weird or strange or comments on it... it doesn't particularly stand out which is good cuz the idea of having cameras on glasses is creepy lol maybe no one says it to my face..In any case I have mixed feelings about it but overall I am happy with my purchase. Think of it this way: remember when the flip phone came out oh man that razor was so cool... now compare your smartphone with the flip phone... basically a decade from now the newer models are going to be badass with AR and all till then if you have this you're the coolest kid on the block and if you don't well you saved yourself a couple hundred bucks.
